The drive

Riverview Road is the road that runs the length of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and this drive takes it south from Valley View at Alexander Road through Boston and Peninsula to Ira Road by Beaver Marsh. It is 13.7 miles and takes about 30 minutes, with gentle curves the whole way.

The road follows the Cuyahoga River valley, so the climb is modest and the driving is relaxed. Pull-offs along Riverview Road make it easy to stop, and the boardwalk at Beaver Marsh is a known place to watch wildlife. Autumn is the season AAA recommends for the leaves.

Riverview Road is a county road, not a park road, and the park doesn't charge an entrance fee.
