About Carve
What Carve is
Everyday navigation apps find the fastest way somewhere. Carve is for the drive itself: the coast road, the canyon, the long way over the pass. You choose the roads, stop by stop, or start from a Google Maps link or one of Carve's famous drives, and Carve guides you along exactly that route. It never swaps your route for a faster one; if you take a wrong turn, it leads you back to the road you planned.
It's built for car drivers, road-trippers and car clubs. A drive can be downloaded to work with no signal, shared by link so a whole group drives the same route, and — with Group — everyone driving it can see each other on the map.
