Many Glacier Road
Many Glacier Road · Babb → Many Glacier Hotel turnoff
The drive
Many Glacier Road leaves US 89 at Babb and runs west into Glacier National Park's Many Glacier valley. The drive runs along Lake Sherburne and ends at the turnoff for the Many Glacier Hotel, on Swiftcurrent Lake. The Lewis Range's high peaks surround the valley.
It's 11.3 miles and about 25 minutes, with only 700 feet of climb and gentle curves. The hotel, the park's largest, dates to 1915 and is a National Historic Landmark. It's a dead end, so you return the way you came.
