The drive

The road winds almost constantly, with long runs of continuous curves and almost no straights.
Nannup sits on the Blackwood River where the Vasse and Brockman Highways meet, about 280 km south of Perth. Its economy still rests on timber milling and beef cattle, and it holds a Flower and Garden Festival each August. The drive ends on Nannup Balingup Road just before the town.
