The drive

Provincial Road 307 enters Whiteshell Provincial Park at Seven Sisters Falls, off Highway 11, and winds through the west-central part of the park. Along the way it gives access to lakes including Nutimik, Dorothy, Betula and White, and to Otter Falls. The park has about 200 lakes in all, and this is one of its main roads in.

The drive runs east to Rennie, where PR 307 meets Highway 44, the La Vérendrye Trail. Highway 44 carries on east to West Hawk Lake, where the drive ends.

Most visitors from Winnipeg take Highway 1 to West Hawk Lake instead, which Manitoba Parks puts at 78.3 miles from the city.
