Drives Ontario Toronto, Niagara and Southern Ontario
Hockley Road
Hockley Road · Hockley Village → Orangeville
The drive
Hockley Road, also Dufferin Road 7, crosses the Hockley Valley in the Niagara Escarpment. It starts at Airport Road in Hockley Village and runs west for 8.3 miles, with curves and short climbs through a wooded valley, to Highway 10 at the edge of Orangeville.
The drive takes about 10 minutes at a steady pace and climbs around 600 feet. It is sweeping rather than hairpin tight, and it is busy with riders on summer weekends. It is a natural companion to Forks of the Credit Road, a short drive to the south-east.
