The drive

Highway 13 goes through Bayfield, where access to Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is available. West of town it turns at Red Cliff and follows the shore of Lake Superior to Cornucopia, which is part of the Lake Superior Circle Tour.

The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore has sea caves and three mainland campsites near Meyers Beach.
